- [ ] hreflang set up correctly between language versions (serving signal, not a link substitute)

## Prospecting in-language
- [ ] Prospect list rebuilt per market (the German list is not a translation of the English list)
- [ ] Sources: local competitor link gaps, local category lists, own publisher relationships
- [ ] Publishers read by local buyers in their language — not English-language sites that happen to rank
- [ ] Geo-relevance of each publisher verified (audience, traffic origin)

## Qualification (same rules in every market)
- [ ] DR 40+ filter, 2,000+ monthly organic visits, topical relevance, no W4U pages, link-farm screen — all applied identically
- [ ] Traffic currency of the publisher checked in its own market

## Writing natively
- [ ] AI drafts in the market's language; a native-speaking editor shapes it
- [ ] Descriptive anchors phrased naturally in the market's language (not translated English keywords)
- [ ] Brand anchors used where possible — they travel across languages
- [ ] Client approval pack includes an English summary of the article (title, target page, anchor, product claims)

## After go-live
- [ ] Link points at the localised URL (not the English homepage)
- [ ] Placement indexed in the target market
- [ ] Logged per market; 12-month monitoring; replaced free if removed
- [ ] Report shows per-market go-lives (multi-market reporting view)
